Image Sitemap Generator
An image sitemap generator writes a sitemap that tells Google about the images on your pages, including images it might not otherwise find, such as those loaded with JavaScript. List each page and its image URLs, and this free tool writes valid XML using only the tags Google currently supports, with up to 1,000 images per page.
Use | to separate page and image, or upload a CSV with page and image columns.

What is a image sitemap generator and when should you use it?
An image sitemap is a normal sitemap with extra tags for images. It helps Google discover images it might miss, for example images added by scripts. Google only uses two image tags now; older tags such as image:caption were removed. Write good alt text first with the Image Alt Text Checker, and combine sitemaps with the Sitemap Index Generator.
How do you use it?
- Paste each page URL with its image URLs.
- Choose a separate image sitemap or add to an existing one.
- Press Generate.
- Download the file and submit it in Search Console.

Result interpretation & practical applications
When evaluating the output of the image sitemap generator, review the parsed metrics against your specific site architecture. Outputs are formatted for direct implementation into your HTML source, web server configuration, or Google Search Console audit files.
Always inspect generated values for contextual nuance. Automated tools highlight structural patterns, but manual verification confirms that technical directives align with your overarching SEO strategy.
